Guy who brought mobo said that thunder storm fried usb modem witch was connected on its usb port.

The motherboard have 0.16v on front panel PS_ON, reset is between 1.8v-2.5v.It can`t turn on even on force short ATX "green and black". I tried to measure USB ports and I find 2 ports with D+ and D- shortcut to null.

I change IT8705F because it was weeery hot- nothing changed.South and north bridge are very slightli warm when ATX is connected, but Q54 (APM3055L) is burning hot. Can it Be fried southbridge?

Коротящие USB - это совсем нехорошо, можно предположить, что южный мост - труп. Но всё же поменяйте Q54 (APM3055L) на что-нибудь приличное и замерьте сопротивление по питанию ЮМ - если близко к нулю, ЮМ менять. ИМХО.

It can`t turn on even on force short ATX "green and black".
Измерьте на плате сопротивления относительно общего вывода (GND) по всем питающим линиям от блока питания (без присоединенного блока питания).

I measured resistence between GND and all other contacts on PWR connector. here is result: +12=22.2K; +5=1.1k ; +3=1.91k; PWR_OK=13.14Mom !?(can this be a problem?) ;5VSB=680om ; PS_ON=1.67k ; -12V=7.24Mom ; -5V=INFINITE



If it`s is not trouble for you, can u tell me in short ,what can i learn from this resistence values?What should they be in normal?

Сопротивления нормальные. Если бы какое-нибудь сопротивление было бы очень низким, то блок питания переходил бы в режим защиты по перегрузке в момент включения.

По методу отжига сказать сложно - не пробовал на VIA отжигать южные мосты (ЮМ).

0,16 В на PS_ON - это мало. Как правило, имеется резистор подтяжки (pull-up resistor), который обеспечивает логическую "1". Этот резистор может быть внешним, а может быть внутренним (встроенным в ЮМ). Попробуйте отследить по плате, куда подключен PS_ON.

Измерьте напряжения +5VSB и /PS_ON на разъеме блока питания в тот момент, когда блок питания подключен к плате.

Since I have USB shortcut with VIA southbridge can I use metod "отжига"?

Я дважды пробовал, оба раза безрезультатно. КЗ уходило, но матплата не оживала.
