Chipset i845G (not GE) support for DDR 333MHz

Hello!

Is it possible to tweak the BIOS for 845G chipset to run with DDR 333MHz?
Is it possible to tweak the clock-gen for 845G chipset which is normally 200MHz to the 845GE which runs on 266MHz?

1) No way, man. First of all - it is a hardware limitation, not a software one, made by bios - so, there is just nothing to tweak.

2) Another time - no way. If you just want to get system running at 266MHz FSB, then it may be you'll do it... Maybe not. Depends on clockgen. Look for SoftFSB, CPUFSB or Clockgen... But don't forget about PCI frequency while oc'ing, if you want even a bit of stability. There is such a thing, named FSB/PCI/AGP divider, built into chipset. It is thу only difference between 845G and 845GE and it'll screw up the entire thing, because PCI devices like IDE controller (even onboard one) are not designed for running when PCI frequency is not standard 33MHz.
